Salim Bencheikh

Salim Bencheikh worked in leading Anglo-Saxon and French law firms before joining the Firm (Clifford Chance, Villechenon) as a partner in July 2023.

He specializes in private equity (venture capital, growth equity and buy-out) and mergers & acquisitions.

Salim’s transversal approach enables him to assist with growth companies as well as the investment funds and industrial investors that finance them.

In particular, Salim assists growth companies and their managing shareholders, especially in the software, life sciences and energy transition sectors, throughout their development, from start-up to sale or IPO in France and abroad. He also assists French and foreign investment funds and industrial investors in financing these companies.

Salim has also developed significant expertise in setting up profit-sharing mechanisms in both French and international contexts.

Salim holds a Master 2 in Private Law from University Paris V and a Master 1 in Business Law from University Toulouse Capitole. He is fluent in English and has notions of Arabic, Swedish and German.
