Salim Bencheikh

Salim Bencheikh previously worked at leading Anglo-Saxon and French law firms (Clifford Chance, Villechenon) before joining the firm as a partner in July 2023.

His private equity practice covers a broad range of transactions, including LBOs (majority and minority), OBOs, MBOs, MBIs, management package structuring and optimization, and build-ups. He advises both investment funds and company leaders, including directors, founders and managers.

In venture capital, he supports clients at all stages of financing—from pre-seed through to growth rounds (Series A, B, C and beyond)—acting for both investors and innovative companies.

In mergers and acquisitions, he advises founders, investors, and managers on acquisitions, divestments, transfers, restructurings, and external growth transactions, both in France and internationally.

Salim takes a cross-functional approach, working with French and international clients, particularly on cross-border transactions, in close coordination with partner firms.

He is particularly active in the technology, life sciences and energy transition sectors, which are a core focus of his practice and align with broader trends in innovation, growth and sustainable transformation.

He has been recognized in several Décideurs / Leaders League rankings, notably in the categories “Venture Capital Operations” and “Capital Operations, JV, Corporate” (Health, Pharma & Biotechnologies guide), as well as “Operations up to €75m” (Mergers & Acquisitions guide). More recently, he was recognized by Best Lawyers in the “Venture Capital” category.

Salim holds a Master 2 in Private Law from Université Paris V and a Master 1 in Business Law from Université Toulouse Capitole. He is fluent in English and has working knowledge of Arabic, Swedish and German.
